The 135-year olde Quaker Inn is a homelike, quiet and thoroughly comfortable Inn, pleasantly located in the heart of the Ocean Grove National Historic District, just 2 blocks from the Atlantic Ocean.

Guests enjoy 2 spacious lobbies, both with cable TV, VCR, piano, library; 3 floors - all with open porches; and 36 cozy rooms (most with Cable TV & VCR).

Our beaches and commercial-free boardwalk are spacious, beautiful and quiet. Main Avenue is lined with blossoming pear trees in spring and twinkling white lights through the holidays.
Our Lobby
The historic Great Auditorium, which seats 6000+, now showcases both summer and winter concerts, events and worship services. Two major flea markets and craft festivals (June/September) attract thousands. Summer/Winter Victorian House and Inn tours and St. Valentine's Chocolate Lover's Weekend are not to be missed.

Katarzyna, Winter Innkeeper, and Lisa, Summer Innkeeper, provide an olde fashioned, family-like atmosphere and invite you to step back in time, relax and enjoy your stay. Our annual Memorial Day buffet still opens the Summer season.

Looking down Main Street to the ocean

Whether you are local or from out of town, bring your sweetheart, family, group - or gift yourself with a spirit-renewal weekend alone, as many come to the Quaker Inn to do. Pass your time away on a rocking chair on one of our porches, visit quaint gift and antique shops and restaurants (The newly restored Nagles Olde Fashioned Ice Cream Parlor is right across Main Avenue). Or, rent a bike and travel through our 1-square mile seaside village to view beautifully restored Victorian homes, cottages and gardens in this National Historical Landmark, which is said to feature the largest collection of Victorian architecture in the country.

Other popular attractions are the Historical Society Museum and Centennial Cottage, guided walking tours, Thornley Chapel, Beersheba Well and Tent City - all nestled around the Great Auditorium. Stroll the boardwalk to nearby Belmar, Bradley Beach, Avon, Spring Lake and Asbury Park.
